EventSA Event and Venue Listing Benefits

EVENT EXPOSURE

Once your event has been approved and published on EventSA; the following marketing is applied to *featured events.

The Event gets tweeted a minimum of 6 times before the event’s due date from the EventSA twitter account for that province ie. @EventSAWC (Western Cape), @EventSAGP (Gauteng), @EventSAEC (Eastern Cape), @EventSAMP (Mpumalanga), @EventSAKZN (Kwa-Zulu Natal), @EventSAFS (Free State), @EventSANC (Northern Cape), @EventSANW (North West) or @EventSALP (Limpopo). View a comprehensive list of our social media accounts here.

These tweets are in the form of event reminders that include the Event Title, Date of Event, a Link to your listing on EventSA as well as a #HashTag of the city or town the event takes place in ie. #CapeTown, #Johannesburg or #PortElizabeth etc. Tweets will be scheduled over a couple of days/weeks leading up to the event.

Each of these tweets get picked up by our main Twitter account: @EventSA (SA National) and gets ReTweeted with the appropriate #HashTag relative to the province your event is in ie. #EventSAWC or #EventSAGP etc.

The published event will notify search engines of the website update and your listing should appear in Google search results within an hour of your event being published. Note that the event will be moderated before it gets published. The moderation period is usually done within 8 hours of payment but can take up to 72 hours to be given the all-clear from our team.

Your Event will get pushed to the EventSA Facebook page as well as the EventSA Provincial Facebook page where it can be shared with your network of friends.

Your Event will also be pushed to the EventSA Google plus page for your province where you will be able to share it with your Google Plus circles.

The Event will also appear on the EventSA LinkedIn page where you will be able to share it with your Business Network.

A variety of content distribution platforms are utilised to extend the visibility of your event or venue publication on EventSA. Don’t forget to ReTweet the event from your own personal Twitter account.
